Oh Eyebrows!!! Cut Thy Eyebrows

Eyebrows are so important and are commonly neglected.

They are what frames your face and are basically accessories to your

eyes. You do not want something like hair getting in the way of

someone being able to gaze into the windows of your soul (your eyes)

.......yes it is that serious. Whether you are getting waxed or threaded it

is strongly suggested that your eyebrows be trimmed once maybe even

twice a month. Unless the lady blotches the job, which is possible and

the risk we take, you will not be disappointed. This added beauty

routine cost anywhere from 6 to 10 dollars at your local nail shop or

house of beauty. If you are starting on a journey to change your look or

routine and eyebrow waxing and or threading is not a part of it I

suggest you start there. Just like the hair everywhere else needs to be

tended to eyebrows are no exception. You would look more clean and

polished within minutes. Even if you do not think you need it get it

done and see what difference a finely shaped eyebrow can do.

WARNING!!!!!!!! The lady doing your eyebrows is more than likely

going to try and offer you another service i.e. a lip waxing. You know

whether or not you have hair above your lip before you get into the

chair. If hairy lips is not your problem do not make it your problem. The

skin above your mouth is extremely sensitive making you more

susceptible to scaring your delicate skin. Also we all heard that when

you shave hair it will grow back way thicker than before and if that is

true for you........ if you didn’t have a mustache you will now. Just a

caution because typically once you start you won’t be able to stop and

for the lady providing the service it is just more money in her pockets

and less in yours.

There are multiple ways to makeup your eyebrows. Yes, you put

makeup there too. I use different techniques all the time and I am

not married to one specific routine. I would suggest going to good ole

YouTube and filter out the good versus the bad. Select a routine that is

going to fit your time, face and the overall look you’re going for. I just

suggest when filling in your brows do not use black anything!!!!!Black

liner or black eye shadow do not use it. It is too harsh for your face.

You may have black hair on your head but in this case the drapes do

not need to match the frame. Try using a brown instead of a black. Try

different shades and pick the one you feel is for you. Use a light hand

when applying and build from there. Last thing, if you are going to use

concealer to clean up after you filled in your eyebrows make sure you

blend it out. Use a concealer closer to your skin tone so that you will

not have to blend for days. Until next time stay pretty.
